You're Gonna Love Me- Hannah Dasher

Hannah Dasher’s You’re Gonna Love Me is a fun, upbeat tune about finding people you have a lot in common with. Just from the lyrics of this song, you can tell she is a fun, honest, country loving woman. She has a unique sound, and an even more unique style. If you have seen her, you probably haven’t ever seen another person that looks like her. From her big, brown hair, to her bold colored bell bottom outfits, she is in a world all her own when it comes to style. If I had to pick one person her style reminds me of, it's the great Dolly Parton. In this song, You’re Gonna Love Me, she sings about finding her kind of people through shared loves and experiences. Hannah begins the song by singing:

If you hate driving through Atlanta any time of day

If you stand up for freedom

kneel sometimes when you pray

If your accent gets thicker after cocktail number three

If that’s you, you’re gonna love me.

Hannah Dasher is a huge Alan Jackson fan. She was the self-proclaimed “youngest member of the Alan Jackson fan club,” and saw him in concert for the first time when she was just 3 years old (she’s our kind of girl! AJ is our number one guy!). It was so memorable, that she still remembers the set and what he wore. Alan Jackson has always been her inspiration for becoming an artist. She mentions him in the next verse of the song:

If you think Eastwood and Sam Elliot

Still got it goin’ on

And Alan Jackson shoulda kept that blonde hair long

If I say, “Play Chattahoochee” and you don’t disagree,

If that’s you, you’re gonna love me

Hannah then flows into the upbeat chorus about herself. She sings about where she’s from, what her friends have nicknamed her, and how she is her true authentic self to everyone:

I’m a bad mamma-jamma

Fresh out of Savannah

My people call me Hannah

H-to-the-damn-to-the-d

No, I ain’t for everybody but I don’t try to be

If you like the sound of that

You’re gonna love me

She wraps up the song with a bridge about buying USA made and smoking when drinking, then rounds out the song with a few repeats of the chorus:

If you say what you think

But you don’t think before you say it

If you’re more inclined to buy

Because it’s made in the USA

& If you think smokin’s trashy,

But you smoke one when you drink

You don’t know it yet,

But you’re gonna love me

I’m a bad mamma-jamma

Fresh out of Savannah

My people call me Hannah

H-to-the-damn-to-the-d

No, I ain’t for everybody but I don’t try to be

If you like the sound of that

You’re gonna love me

I say what I mean, I mean what I say

I make no apologies

I’m a bad mamma-jamma

Fresh out of Savannah

My people call me Hannah

H-to-the-damn-to-the-d

No, I ain’t for everybody but I don’t try to be

If you like the sound of that

You’re gonna love me

Oh, you’re gonna love me
