Happy Memorial Day to all!
My thanks and prayers go out to all the Men and Women who gave the ultimate sacrifice so we can live the life we live today.
As we spend time with our families today, be sure to remember why we’re able to do this. Freedom isn’t free and that’s something every American citizen should think about often.
Every Memorial Day my father plays the song “God Bless the USA” by Lee Greenwood. I encourage everyone to give it a listen at least once today and think about what it means. The chorus below will give you chills.
And I'm proud to be an American,
Where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
Who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
Next to you and defend her still today.
